Visitors should not plan to drive up to the bridge after that. Official park-and-ride shuttles begin around 8:30 AM from designated Fayetteville, Oak Hill and Hico lots. The current organizer page lists a $3 shuttle fare. What you are coming to see Bridge Day turns the bridge into a pedestrian festival with BASE jumping, rappelling, vendors and gorge views. Optional Into the Gorge experiences are separately ticketed and can sell out. Weather and pets The event is held rain or shine. Dogs and other pets are not permitted.
